Customizing the Questionnaire

The Défi questionnaire is based on Watson Wyatt Worldwide's WorkCANADATM survey; it covers the following dimensions:

  • Line of sight: The focus and direction that enables you to understand what to do in order to make your organization successful
  • Enablement: Getting the training, resources, tools and equipment you need to do your job
  • Integrity: Helping you understand and live up to your organization
  • Leadership : The effectiveness of the leadership of your organization.
  • Talent Management: How well your organization doez in hiring and retaining highly qualified employees including in steeing and ensuring high performance standards are met
  • Rewards and Benefits: How well your organization provides rewards and benefits that are aligned with your performance
  • Health and the Workplace: How well your organization supports your individual health and creates a healthy workplace
  • Commitment : How motivated you are to help your organisation succeed

If your organization has specific needs or challenges that may not be measured by the questionnaire, it can be modified for a fee (the fee is modest for such a significant survey).

For instance, the demographic questions in the survey allow us to group responses by sex, type of position (unionized or not), years of service and job category. If it is important for you to obtain results in a different type of grouping, more demographic questions can be added. Also, if your organization includes distinct subsidiaries or groups, it might be important for you to separate the results by different employee groups.
